Re: For those who are in AA school and got into multiple ones, why did you chose that particular school?
The old adage is the best school is the one you get into. More seriously, I picked South over Emory and Nova(s) because of multiple reasons. The interview left a real good impression on me and lasted the entire day. At Emory you are in and out in about an hour and didn't get shown much of anything. Add to that a smaller class size, with a very good level 1 trauma clinical site without sharing with a med school and it's a pretty sweet deal. 2nd year rotations are basically the same as other programs so don't stress about that. No real complaints about anything thus far. No real traffic in Savannah is a plus too, and amount of clinical time 1st year will get me prepared for 2nd year. After Christmas we spend 18 hours a week minimum in the OR. Also, the few people that I've met from Case are pretty top notch, though they have a few years experience. Really it's how much you put into a program how much you will get out of it.
