I just heard back from Emory in regards to my earlier question -- no, they do not allow applicants who are rejected to re-apply during the same application cycle.
So that means that if I apply in August with my 1110 GRE score and 3.59 GPA and get rejected, that's it - I won't be going to Emory.
So now the question is, do I take that risk, or do I wait to apply in mid-November with a higher (hopefully 1200+) GRE score, which would mean that I would be applying with only a month left in the application cycle?
Tough decision to make, especially since South rejected me last year with the same GRE score (they cited that my GRE quant score was too low to offer an interview)....
