If that's the case, then my opinion is to finish your app now and show that you are an early/decisive candidate who knows what they want. If you wait till November, they will see 2 low scores and maybe a higher score if you do well. Your GPA is competitive and if you have good LOR's you should be fine with the "average" GRE score. I took the GRE twice to improve it, and it stayed the same, so I did not send the score. Besides, last year I applied early, interviewed and did not get accepted in the early process. However, everyone in my position with the early denial where still in the running for the regular app decisions in Jan/feb. That is when I got accepted, so it's almost like 2 chances with 1 interview. Maybe I'm the exception, but why wait and hope you get a better GRE when yours is fine with a nice GPA? My math was higher though (600), just terrible vocab if that helps, because I was accepted at south and nova too with those numbers.
