. I mean if I could say it I’m sure it would be the British way but yea we do say a lot of words differently from how they are spelt. Could it be to do with phonetics? As that how we are taught from young?
Remember we are brits so nothing is simple! I feel like a traitor saying it like that but for a small country with all our dialects and so on its bounds to mean we are a proverbial pain in the ass when it comes to English!
As for Emma, if it’s the one I know, she does have an American parent so maybe that plays a part! I’m sure I’d align more with TMT and that cohort if I was actually made to pronouse it’s! Apologies!
I do however find it amusing that I am English, speak it everyday and get still took 5 attempts to pass my gcse English exams when I was in school! This shows how difficult we make it I’m sure! All in all, I think I did a great job insulting my own country and mother tongue!
