Please point any "Active" personnel to the Board to "ask a question" if they want to have insight how "we did our jobs" back in the day. There is a plethora of information; stories, what the rules were, lack of technology and equipment, etc. that can be easily shared and not a damn thing can be done if we substitute names where appropriate.
All they need to do is post the question or mention the "beef" they have. If they fear repercussions from the Department, simply use an alias when posting (but follow our rules of the Board).
I am in no way discouraging luncheon attendance, but let's be honest, it is difficult for those that attend now to speak to everyone. Also if the topics they want discussed are "sensitive", it could be uncomfortable.
This Board has been and will remain a platform to talk about the old days, good and bad. Just use common sense when you post something as there is no "DELETE" button.
