Started in the late 1940s & 1950s (Comets) with 3x5 index cards (name, type, era, country, maker/source, cost, etc.) including many kits and self-builds. Have about 3k+ cards but currently transferring info with photos to PC, along with 1:100 scale (or about) 1-2k military (ground) model vehicles.
