I have over 5,000 models and have used Excel for years. I also use it for my library of about 1,500 books. It works fine for me.

My collection of 1/1250 and 1/1200 ship models is almost at 900. I am currently using an Excel spreadsheet to catalog them but its a bit cumbersome. What is everyone else using?
I did just come across software called Recollector that looks like it would work. It's only $49.95 so affordable.
