I have several of his models all of which are IJN. These include CVL RYUHO (not RYUJO) and CVL IBUKI (SUZUYA CA hull) as the big ones.
Also, John was generous as he made me a RO-100 class submarine for loaning him my rare book of drawings on the IJA YAMASHIO MARU so he could make the master for the HAI model.
He did the RO-100 to represent the RO-101 as he was aware that I knew the PBY pilot who assisted in its sinking. John was pretty good with his history besides the ships.

I have a number of his models, some commissioned,
some when he was trying to make room and was looking to sell some of his collection.
I am thinking of putting together a display for the September meeting in the DC area. I too miss
him and his work.
