Let me clarify my answer a bit.... Archived Message

Was talking with the guy who runs my neighbor's yard service, and he brings in guys from Mexico on some kind of a seasonal work visa program (he mentioned letters and numbers, but I don't remember what it was). They work for him from like March through November, and then go back home. But I could see a situation where the weather is really warm, and there is still lots of work, so a couple of the guys hang around for an extra couple of weeks before heading back. I don't see that as a big deal. Now if someone intentionally uses a temporary visa as a beachhead for permanent residency? Yeah, that's not much different than entering illegally in the first place. Previous Message I guess I take the position that I am more willing to be forgiving if you at least entered this country legally and were initially properly vetted.
