I read a few of the old threads on nickel plate LC guns. It appears there is no official documentation on LC Smith's being plated at the factory beyond speculation and LC's being plated vs. Fox/Parker not being done/found plated. Was a list of plated guns ever compiled? If so I have 215755 12 ga. specialty, 30", SST, ejectors, splinter, pistol grip with a plated receiver and appeared to be original when I bought it.
