    The DGJ articles by Dr. Gaddy that Tom referenced above were Vol.7, Iss.4 (Winter, 1996) and Vol.8, Iss.1 (Spring, 1997). I hope you'll be able to document your process and maybe describe it for us in a future issue of the LCSCA Journal. New case colors are the part of any restoration that are the most mysterious yet yield the most dramatic change (if done well). It also seems to be an almost lost art that is still only practiced by a very few craftsmen. I am in awe of what Turnbull's shop, for example, is able to do with factory-like colors and am even more impressed by guys that can do it at home.
