FAQ on re-cocking worked perfectly. forearm and barrels can put to receiver in open position. It appears there is a locking rod in receiver that passes through locking lug on barrels when in closed and locked position. this rod is completely across recess in receiver that takes barrels in closed position as if gun is ready to be fired. It is 20 gauge field grade. Need help, being a complete novice! Thanking in advance, Dave Randall
