Not sure exactly which reference you're referring to; but if one goes to the Brophy book one will find that Col. Brophy recorded serial number 211603, which shipped 9/29/09, as being the last (or newest) A-3 Hunter Arms produced; and gun #2169, which shipped 9/30/96, as the first A-3 ever produced. In recent years another A-3 with a lower/earlier serial number than A-3 #2168 was discovered by member Tom Breeden; and as that gun had not been included in the original Brophy recap, the question is was an unrecorded A-3 produced after #211603 and also overlooked by Mr. Brophy? Jim Stubbendieck has extensively researched the surviving Hunter Arms shipping records and could provide a definitive answer; so until Jim posts to this thread, I've given the best information available to me.
