    Hello Gregg,and welcome to the forum!
    As David suggests a research letter confirming it as an original two barrel set would be great. Unfortunately many times guns were sent back long after purchase for the second set, and there may not have been an indication of that work surviving in the records that we have today. If the serial numbers match, the second set and fore-end are marked with the number 2, and the fit and finish are appropriate, chances are that the work was factory provided.
    I seem to remember reading somewhere that Hunter Arms would supply a second barrel set for 1/2 the price of a new gun. (Hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong!) That said, I'd guess that a factory two barrel set should fetch between 25 & 50% more than a single barrel set gun in the same condition.
    Hopefully others will chime in with their opinion, as mine is only just that, an opinion!
