    Thank you for the response. I currently own two 16ga LC Smith type-3 hammer guns. These are definitely Baker Gun Co. barrels, made after Folsom took over the company. I also have the side plates and small parts.

    I only asked the question here due to the overlap that is common among Elsie and Baker guys. These barrels are 28", uncut, no dents, no pitting, and ring true. Homo tensil steel. I am wanting to know if they will fit a Baker G&F (Gun and Forging) receiver. Baker G&F was the predecessor to the operation which became Baker Gun Co after Folsom took over Baker Gun and Forging in...1919? Somewhere thereabouts.
