I have a set of Folsom era steel barrels, with forend and wood, serial #17365F. I am recalling from memory, but do know they are above 17,000F so I assume this to be one of the latest made by Folsom.
In regards to fitting these barrels to another gun, can they be fit to a Baker G&F era gun without too much work, or will these only work with another Folsom F-marked gun?
I am also curious about the difference between receiver size on 16ga and 20ga guns. Can a set of 16ga barrels be fit to a 20ga gun. I know the 12ga frames are too large. Are the 20ga baker frames smaller or the same as a 16ga?
Thanks so much for anyone's input. I'm trying to decide if these are worth holding on to for future use.
