I thought I had resloved the non tox pellet/choke damage issue by using #4 Bismuth in my 12 gauge L. C. Smith choked F & F., but after reading the above responses I am beginning to get concerned. My Smith was made in the early 1940s, so do I need to be concerned with choke damage using my 2 3/4", 1 1/4 oz of #4 Bismuth @ 1,250 fps, 8,200 psi load?
