If your L C Smith that we are talking about is your dedicated hunting gun, not a rare high grade collectable LCS, just open the chokes up on both barrels so that you can shoot it without worrying about hurting it. I have opened up the chokes on several L C Smith SXSs and every time we were well pleased with the results. Good Hunting To You, Jent
