    David Kennedy is correct. The L.C. Smith Collectors Association copy of the records is identical to the information contained in the microfiche held at the Cody Firearms Museum. The Marlin Firearms Company arranged to have an electronic copy made from their microfiche and saved in .PDF format for us.

    Another way to get a sense of the extent of the records is to look at Chapter 10 (Serial Numbers and Production Data) in Houchins' book. A table outlining all 24 of the record books may be found on page 521 of Houchins' book.

    Although some information is missing from the records, they contain information on all types and grades from Fulton and Ranger through A3 and De Luxe. The first records start in 1890, and the last cover the 1968-71 production.
