Thanks for the input so far. If I do anything else at all, it will be to send the barrells off. I do not want to do anything to the wood or receiver. I live in Texas. Dove season is about 6 wks. away. I've seen his name before, is it Kirk Merrington who does barrel work in Tx., or is he the gentleman up on the west coast? Help doc.
