    Wow, thanks for the informative info. I spoke with my dad about this. He's been a welder for 30+ years and has been doing steel wildlife art for around 10. He's going to lengthen my current trigger guard and match it to my new stock.

    BTW, My new stock is from Great American Gun Stocks. It's semi-inletted but still needs alot of finish work to fit right. I don't think the forend will pose to many problems but the butt stock is a whole nother story! Any hints?
