Thomas, The chamber dimensions I got on two of my Longrange is start .809 and at 3" it was 796. In Brophy's book the chambers are listed for 2 3/4" at .809 and .795 at 2 3/4". These measurements were taken with a telescoping gage more than once.
I don't have access to a lathe anymore or I would make a few plug gages to go from .729, .732,-.740 to find out exactly what the bores are of a Longrange. In a magazine add "Hunting & Fishing" from October 1929 states "It's bored to a longer, tapering choke and is chambered for the high-powered 3" shell".
Also found it interesting "We have one of the best gun engravers in the world and would be glad to quote the cost of your favorite dog's portrait or favorite scene engraved on the lockplate".
