I have recently purchased two double-barrel L.C. Smith shotguns. I am trying to gather as much information as I can on them. One seems in better condition than the other.
I am sending a few pictures to share with your association with the hope of also getting some feedback on them. I am including pictures of the gun that is in better shape. I not a good picture taker and my camera is so-so. I took a bunch of photos.
What I have learned so far, using the resources your website provides, is that the one in the picture is a 1898- 12 gauge hammerless ejector. Possibly a Syracuse #2 12 gauge. The serial # is 16804. I may be wrong on most of this…
I am excited to learn any new information that you could provide. I hope I didn't over pay!!
