I have recently begun collecting Pre-13 L.C. Smiths. I have found that by listening to the sound advice from the same gentleman that has responded to your posts that the best course of action is to 1. Do your homework on a gun and 2. Wait for the gun you want to appear. I waited quite a while and had a beautiful 2E fall into my hands for less than 50% of what they were bringing at the time. I would suggest putting some "feelers" out and letting the gun come to you. You will be much more satisfied in the end.
