    About two weeks ago I wrote to this forum about trying to idenify a grade of a L.C.Smith I found in a pawn shop. Here's what I have been able to find out since then.

    Serial #36696

    Forend has a dogs head carved on it.

    There is a 2 stamped under the barrels further up past the serial number.

    Any info would be a help.
