A few years ago when I started shooting skeet I used an 870 pump gun and really enjoyed shucking it for the second bird. As a got a little older with a little more cash I graduated to a 3200 over and under...and had a heck of a time trying to stop shucking that forearm. Older still and selling all the Remingtons in favor of Smiths I started with single barrel trap guns with, of course, a single trigger. Then on to SxS Smiths with double triggers... well you guessed it, trying to go back and forth between single trigger shooting trap guns in tournaments from March to October and occasionally shooting double triggers drove me to despair. So, in my experience I will not own a double trigger gun (have sold them all in favor of single triggers) and to me the perfect SxS gun is a Smith in any gauge with all options: single selective trigger, vent rib, Prince of Wales grip, ejectors, beavertail forend, ivory beads and period pad. That's my story and I'm sticking with it
