We really need pix for a proper judgement, but without seeing the gun the beavertail in not original to that grade and is likely aftermarket; but at $800 bucks, assuming the barrels are not pitted and haven't been cut, you are below current Pigeon grade pricing and have some dollars to work with towards proper restoration (especially so if this gun has the auto-ejector option).
