Not sure on the early mustang, It would be nice if it would work. if it is similar to our 1961 Falcon Ranchero with the Ford 2.77 trans. The clutch fork pivot is on the opposite side of the bellhousing instead of being mounted on a stud like the Chevette. This is because the Falcon uses a mechanical clutch linkage that pushes on the clutch fork instead of pulling like the vette. Our Ranchero is a 1961 though and the Mustang didn't come out until 1964.5 so there might be some differences. I'd love to see somebody make it work though.
