Sorting cars. Today's switching is a little tricky, as WMMU1 arrived with cars for Conklin, as well as cars for Ravenna that are heading back north, as the sidings at Ravenna have to be switched northbound. There are also a few cars to pick up at Conklin.
The track on the right is the belt line in Muskegon, the tracks are stuck side by side due to spacial limitations

Back to work again. With more cars on hand than will fit in the siding, some creativity is needed to get the train in order. Here the outbound train is assembled, and the 2174 is pushing it south through the siding, while pulling the cars it will be leaving at Conklin.
At 136PM the Conklin cars have been cut off and the train is clear of the south switch...WMMU1 is ready to head back north. The operator at Shaw gives permission on the Muskegon Secondary northward from Conklin to Shaw.
