Hey, I've been called far worse than a hoosier in my life time. When I read that post, even the first time it had me wondering. My thoughts are, if you're going to thank someone or pay someone a sincere compliment why litter it with the garbage or in this case, what sounds like insults?
If the hoosier remark and other non sense would have been left out of the post, then I think there would have been no doubt it was a respectful compliment and a thank you.
FormerGCian, you have much advice to offer the owner's of the web site on many subjects. Editing, post removal and censorship and banning posters. I guess it's a good thing you are not in their shoes. That is one of the best things about this site, it's not often they do any of the things you just mentioned.
I think everyone here is old enough to play nice or at least make it appear that we are playing nice.
