I read the article and according to his apology his statement was supposed to be directed at the liberalism philosophy and not individuals.
I cannot argue his intention with the initial statement, but taking him at his word, he is correct in what he said.Liberalism philosophy does go against the precepts of the Lords Word. If he is really a Christian then we can be sure he has a certain mindset about him and will represent that mind set in all that he does.
The truth is there is no representative who truly "represents us all". I know when I go to the voting booth I don't vote for who I think is going to be a wimp and sway with every gust of wind - because he "represents us all". I vote for whoever lines up best with my morals and values.
No, you can't be both anti-abortion and pro-choice. Abortion is essentially about the children and not the women. So either your for the children or you are not. The women and men made a choice to sleep together - the child had no say so.
Then because they (father and mother), don't want to deal with the consequences of their actions - they choose to get rid of the problem - that problem is a child. This hurts women physically and emotionally - it also hurts the men emotionally and it kills a child.
I am sorry but I think it is time we all quit trying to be politically correct and stand for what we truly believe in. We need to quit being punked out by all the so called "whatever works for you mentality". Because the truth is the way we live our lives effects others.
What is that saying? If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. Something like that, anyway, lot of truth there.
