I never understood why such a simple place with a straightforward menu wouldn't make it in a place like this. It's almost like areas have to be upscale to attract places like this. It's like they have to be in some development with other similar chain stores. Trader Joe's too..That place is not so expensive, really. But yet Trader Joe is always in a high rent district. Maybe it is because of the variety and the unusual offerings, but I can understand why we would be better off developing independent businesses. And who knows -- they might just be loads better than the chains and create their own landmark status. We can't copy another Fast Eddies...but if it's between 4 Guys and Fast Eddies -- give me Eddie anyday. I enjoy the fact that there's two great upstarts that are doing their thing. I like that John guy that said he'd like to try with Donuts again. American Steel added those jobs... What's not to like?
