Turn the humidifier on the furnace on, turn the furnace off but leave the fan running. Bundle up under covers because the thermostat is going to dip a bit during the night. The dry heat compounds the nasal congestion.
Don't have a humidifier? Put pots or bowls of water in front of the heat registers. When the furnace is running, it helps throw moisture in the air.
Been doing it all Winter.
Come on Spring! I'd rather be sneezing due to the flowers.
