I have an idea. Let the CRNA's fight the MDA's for the Contracts. The CRNA's can practice solo and we will work for the MDA's. Even with the AANA pounding the doors for its membership we get more work than we can handle.
Since the MDA's will win most, if not all, the good contracts the AA's get the pick of the best jobs. You got to love the AANA and CRNA's like DD and Dave S.
Maybe, we can get DD, Dave S and a few of the others to express their views about the ASA, AAAA and MDA's to Dr. Lema. I am sure Dr.Lema will appreciate the e-mails and the kind words from them. It will make it perfectly clear to Dr. Lema why the AA is the mid-level provider of choice in the operating room. You really have to appreciate the help from your fellow anesthetists.
