There's only a shortage of CRNA's when the AANA is trying to open more schools. When AA's try to come into a state, the first thing they say is "There's plenty of CRNA's - we don't need AA's". That's exactly what is happening in NC. They testified under oath that there were plenty of CRNA's in NC - in their next breath in the committee room next door, they're there with their hands out asking for money to open a 6th CRNA school in NC.
