The answer to all those questions is yes. Except, AA's can only work without MD supervision in Emergencies. All other times we must be "supervised". In some cases the "supervision" may only be on paper. I work in a practice with both AA's and CRNA's and we are used interchangeably. This is the way it is in all practices where both are employed.
