it's hard to believe how competitive it has gotten over the last year or so (and espec. during this cycle), but i guess i cant blame anyone who wants to become an AA.
i guess i won't be applying to South since the app. deadline (including GRE scores) is jan 1st, and there isn't an opening to take the GRE near me until almost christmas. (it takes 10 days for scores to be mailed out)
do you know if South is more competitive than the other programs? the reason i ask is because i was told by admissions staff at both emory and nova that they don't have strict cut-offs for gpa/gre, they still look at the entire application instead.
does south get a lot of applications from a nearby engineering program or something? sounds like it is harder to get into than most programs
