They won't throw it out for a B, or even a C for that matter. About asking Sharon directly about a cut off, I wouldn't bother asking. I'd just send in the application. Again, despite all the rumors of cut offs, there are ALWAYS exceptions. Even at South. If you ask a question about your failures (low GRE) you are going into it the wrong way. It shows lack of confidence, and that there is what they don't want. It's a no win situation. All you're doing is trying to save an application fee only to get confirmation that you aren't good enough. If someone pointed out their weakness to me and asked if its alright of course I'd say it's not. If it dosnt say on the application or on the website like other requirements (min GPA etc) then its not a requirement or cut off. End of story. Apply. Everything else is a rumor or someone weeding out people on the fence by asking too many questions about "minimums". They don't want the minimum so please don't ask about it. It just makes sense to me that way.
