I see a cardio that is 9 hrs away because my first heart problem was there some yrs ago. I really like him and his is well thought of. His hosp dropped my ins last yr but I was told I could still go private pay which I was more than willing to do, my once yrly appt and testing and consult would be worth every penny to me. My appts are made for the next yr when I see him.

Well, I get a call a few wks before my due in Nov apt wondering why I haven"t cancelled and they informed me that I would be committing FRAUD if I try to keep the appointment and that I should have been called twice which they see they failed to do. Anyway, I now today got a message that as a "courtesy" they are filling a script that is due for refill- I have no idea what is going on- I only know that I have lost another right- not being on any government welfare, etc and always able to pay my way has cheated me out of seeing who I should be able to choose. Maybe I am wrong but I am heart broken----no pun intended
