Their office was on the fifth floor way on the other side of the hospital entrance that I had to use.So they have wheelchair escorts for those with mobility issues. The young man that took me must have had wishes to be Mario Andretti because he scared me to nervousness taking turns and the speed.
The exam room I was put in was so small and with no windows not to mention having to keep the door shut made me claustrophobic. Then the surprise of not seeing the doctor. This was right after my fall and I could barely walk and had a walker.
Anyway it was unpleasant.I was to return in a few weeks but on that day we had an ice/snow storm.I couldn't get out of my driveway.Plus feeling very bad I just went back to bed.Forgot all about the appointment therefore didn't call them to say I wouldn't be in.
I could have cared less.I didn't like the escorts and the waiting area plus the nurse practitioner was gruff and treated me like an object instead of a human.I did not reschedule.
That was January of this year and intially had first visit in December.
I got a letter from them about missing appointments and after three notices getting "fired".In other words they would not see me again.Waiting eleven months to send the letter made me mad.I think business is off for them because of the nurse practitioner, the location of the office and attitudes of staff and they are trying to drum up business.Duhh not me.I will never go back.My faulf?? Probably.
