I hope everyone has an advance directive on record.

My best friend had hepatic cancer and had outlived the time he was told he had yet the staff at the rest home kept after him about DNR.He wanted resuscitation but they wanted him to sign a DNR.

I had to really be adamant about his wishes.They even tried to coerce him in my absence to sign a DNR.I was his POA medically and financially.

My mother wouldn't put anything on paper.It is still a mess. My husband wouldn't pick out burial plots or make any advance plans.He would just say it me in a 55 gallon drum and throw in a match.

Not me I want everything done the way "I" want.Guess some might call me a control freak
