My girls used to not want to talk about it, but I kept at it until it is casual conversation now. I even had them tell me things around the house they want when I do pass. I have it in a directive to my executor (Amy) that each girl wants certain items. I even had my grandson Michael tell me the other day that he'll miss me when I'm gone. LOl I still laugh at that one.

I tell them that we're born to die, and it is a fact of life we just have to get used to. They've lost their father and husband and brother-in-law so it has made it all real for them and that with me passing, it really is the order of things. I am old and my time is drawing near.
