I knew someone who once told me she signed her kids up for everyprogram she could for underpriveleged kids and said her kids got nicer gifts than most privileged kids. That sort of soured me on angel trees. I do like the angel trees some nursing homes have for their residents. Those don't usually abuse the system. They ask for lap blankets or personnel items.
