The rest/rehab home that my best friend stayed out had terrible food.He said the best meal was breakfast.He was diabetic and there were no special efforts made for their diets except putting artificial sweetener on their tray.Everybody got the same thing regardless of their health.

He always requested certain foods from home...my home.I always took food to him.He also used his debit card yo order food from his favorite Chinese place and ordered pizza.He would go to the patio and get deliveries there.Sometimes he would order enough pizza to share.

You'd think with the thousands of dollars the VA payed for his care he wouldn't ever be hungry.
