I thought it would be harder to do. But since i could never live in it again, this was the best solution. I can use the money more than the expenses of owning the house. It was an old home and things needed to be replaced..electrical, plumbing, im sure the furnace was on iits last legs.

My niece just redid my childhood home. Every time they went to do something other problems cropped up..she spent about $200,000 fixing it up and now my sil has a nice place to finish out her days. My niece has a few properties here as investments. She rents them out. Shes very good with i
