I cut my own hair for years during the 80s, 90s and part of the 2000s. It just got too difficult after a while in about 2010, so I've been going to Brenda ever since. I used to give myself perms too as my hair is very straight and no body. I still curl it. I wear my hair up and during the week if I have no place to go, I don't curl it.

I don't get perms though. Although, when I broke my right wrist, I had Brenda give me one because it was just too difficult to try to curl it on my own.
