The costs are changing week to week around here.Even produce at the farmers market is more expensive.I often find myself thinking of little kids going hungry.It is heartbreaking.

I didn't know until I was grown that I lived in poverty as a child.Yet as I look back I see there were others much worse off than I was.It was a real eye opener to learn that not every person did without like I did.

I see that a 7 oz.bag of chips costs about the same if not more than 10 pounds of potatoes. Which would you pick?

Is it really cheaper to make cookies than to buy ready made? With six kids my sister always made them cookies.Nothing store bought for them.Now as adults when their kids visit her she makes cookies.

Which foods have you noticed being more costly than ever? Meats and fresh produce prices are constantly rising.I find it unbelievable that the farmers charge more for their veggies than they cost at stores.Maybe it is just my way of thinking.
