I have about totally given up on growing things. Even my houseplants are dwindling; I am developing a black thumb. Gophers eat everything the deer don't eat. Even having my tomato plants on the patio, mice nibbled on EVERY dang tomato that grew. So I hope we continue to have supermarkets even though they don't taste as good from them.
