Well, I just had my 78th birthday a few weeks ago, I was born in '47. Some things written here I can identify with, some not. Born in a town of 16,000, walked everywhere safely. I remember we got our TV when I was in 5th grade. Never much into westerns, remember when older anxiously waiting to see Elvis, Everly Bros and Rick Nelson to come on Ed Sullivan.

I don't remember much talk of wars until I was near graduating HS, it was Viet Nam and many of my classmates joined up because they wanted the GI Bill. I think that helped many as in our class have some very successful folks, a 33 yr State Senator, a lot of lawyers and several MDs. WE will have our 60th reunion in April, looking forward to it.
