How very true. And I so relate! I remember when soda pop cost 7 cents a bottle. (10 oz.) When you could actually buy penny candy.
I remember getting upset that the news came on and it was all news about the war. It interrupted "The Shadow"..."The Lone Ranger" and so on.
I remember sitting around a campfire singing and playing instruments with the folks from Arkansas and Oklahoma and enjoying picking green beans or walnuts.
